Heavenly Lies – To be “early to bed and early to rise” or good sleep in general
Hot Bun – Fun
Honeysuckle – Sallywattle, a place of tranquillity and refuge near the Natural Bridge/Arch (AH after AD)
Huzak – music selected by Hugh (can be changed eg. into “Jameszak” and “Paulzak” for music created by James or Paul) (PC)
Illeisure - The opposite of leisure
Illeisurable – Something in which you cannot find leisure
Jackie or Jackie Chan - Jacket (JB and PC)
Jenny Bunn – An extremely attractive but also very sweet and warm young woman, usually a primary school teacher or a teacher of some sort (derived from the name of the main character in Kingsley Amis’ Take A Girl Like You)
Kenny – The art of having a drink in company that one does not necessarily know well. On such an occasion, being strangers is no barrier. *NEW*!
Kerfuffle – felafel
La Festy – A period of celebration that comes at the end of a housing lease, where everyone involved has a good time cleaning the place up for the landlord’s pleasure (JB and JD)
Lar Sect – Secular.“He is part of the Lar Sect” means “He is secular”. See also “Sect of Lar”

Marbowls – a game based on bowls, invented by James H and James B, and played using large marbles as the balls and a small marble as a jack. To be played on the carpet, preferably at The Furnace’s place. (James H and JB)

Par-tae – Party (traditional)
Phido or Fido – Phd (“Chips is wrestling with Fido” = “Joel is doing some work on his phd”)

Polylingual – The type of verbosity one has when one drinks too much alcohol

Ruth – Right or Correct or Right On (As in “That’s Ruth, I did have a nark on the shark with The Furnace”, which means, “That’s right, I did talk to Bernice on the phone”)

Turkey Scratch
– To be desperately seeking female company eg. “I’m having a bit of a turkey scratch at the moment – I’ve been a bit dickslexic” or “I’ve always been dickslexic about the turkey scratch.” The male scrub turkey builds a nest during mating season, even if he doesn’t have female company and he keeps on building it or starts another one until the end of the season or until he meets a woman turkey.
